ROSSOMAHAAR is undoubtely the most well known russian Black Metal band outside their country. Their first album “Imperium Tenebrarum” was a good start that’s now continued by this masterpiece entitled “Quaerite Lux In Tenebris…” that has already been released in their own country, getting the recognition of being considered by the prestigious “M” Magazine, the biggest extreme Metal publication in Belarus, as the best russian Metal band of 2001.

“Quaerite Lux In Tenebris…” is a bombastic masterpiece of majestic, symphonic and melodic Black Metal which has already been compared to BIMMU BORGIRs “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia” in terms of perfection both in production and execution, although the band’s style retains a very own personality, sometimes influenced by very early works of greek Gods ROTTING CHRIST, to give you an idea.

With no doubt, this is the best time to unleash a russian scene full of great bands, but with reduced opportunities to out of their country!!
