“When I finished drawing our charity T-shirt for Ukraine almost a year ago, right after the start of Russias invasion of Ukraine, I vowed, swore, to draw that ugly face of Putin never again in my life. Nevermore. I was so disgusted with this human monster that the thought of drawing it turned my stomach inside out. I was wrong. This bloody war is still going on, and its victims continue to pile up by the hundreds every day. And as it became more and more obvious that we were about to see the sad anniversary of the most brutal war in Europe since the end of the Second World War, the horrifying image of this nightmare kept appearing in my mind. And, with great self-denial, it had to come out on paper. The nightmare of Red Square, sharpening its claws for more innocent victims. Maybe one day it will come for you. Will anyone stop it? One, two, Putin’s coming for you…”
